The Commissioners decided in favor of signing the agreement of taking over said new building on the mountain. Bureau of Land Management and the repeater site:

Currently awaiting direction from Bureau which will probably come in Spring at the earliest.  Work on repeater this last week was done by Bret, Jim and Bill.  Batteries replaced, adjusted voltage, installed new power supply, and isolator installed. Lightning strike damage was observed requiring repair and retuning. Over 20 hours spent on the mountain over two days. Inspected the old building we may potentially occupy in the future.

Great American Shake out occurred Oct 19 at 10:19 am:

Reviewed things that went well and what needs improvement. EOC location was able to hear all stations. Hospital antenna not working well, possible obstructions and foliage. Sherriff did not participate. Conclusions include the need for adding roaming patrol, continue this event yearly, and expand to more detailed exercise. This could include starting from home initially before moving into other positions during the event. Hospital administrator was happy for doing the drill due to it meeting their emergency drills/requirements.
